WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, January 9 at noon ET, hundreds of people from across the country will unite in Washington D.C. to rally and demand that Senators reject extremist anti-immigrant proposals. This bold showing of solidarity comes as Congress members return to Capitol Hill after the winter recess to resume ongoing negotiations that seek to trade away the rights of immigrants and asylum seekers in exchange for short-term foreign aid. During the rally, Members of Congress will join immigration advocates, labor and border leaders, faith leaders, and asylum seekers, to call out how anti-immigrant proposals would gut our asylum system, separate families, and send vulnerable people back to danger.

Rally calling on Senate Democrats to reject any anti-immigrant proposals in ongoing supplemental aid package negotiations.
