Kimberly Harbin is ImmDef’s Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel, based in the Los Angeles office. She supervises the Operations, IT and HR teams, handles organizational legal matters, and engages in strategic planning for the organization. She is a graduate of Tufts University and Harvard Law School. Prior to this position, she served as an attorney with ImmDef’s Children’s Representation Project. Her initiation to immigration law was through an EJW fellowship placing immigration attorneys in upstate New York. Prior to practicing immigration law, she was a corporate lawyer and served as in-house counsel for two non-profits. She loves learning languages, running and live theater.
