Staff Attorney/Law Graduate/Fully Accredited DOJ Representative

Riverside, CA

In order to increase access to justice for people facing immigration court, ImmDef is currently hiring additional legal and administrative staff.

The Immigrant Defenders Law Center (“ImmDef”) is a next-generation, social justice law firm that provides high-quality representation and legal services to immigrants in Southern California. ImmDef was founded with the belief that no immigrant should be forced to go into court alone, and our universal representation programs for children and adults are a first step towards that goal. Learn more about us at

In 2017, ImmDef opened one of the first and only non-profit removal defense-focused offices in the chronically underserved Inland Empire region of California. In the past two years, we have been able to serve dozens of community members who otherwise would have been forced to face immigration court alone.

In order to expand our capacity to bring high quality legal representation to our clients, ImmDef seeks a full-time Staff Attorney, Law School Graduate or legal services worker with prior experience as fully DOJ accredited representative to provide fearless and zealous advocacy to child clients in immigration removal proceedings. The Staff Attorney/Law Graduate/DOJ Accredited Representative will work under the direct supervision of a Managing Attorney and in collaboration with other team members. Our team receives support from paralegals, administrative assistants and case managers. This is a rewarding and exciting position where the successful applicant will be engaged in cutting edge immigration litigation.
