This past Saturday #TeamImmDef joined forces with our partners County Supervisor @HildaSolis, Los Angeles County Offices of Immigrant Affairs, Los Angeles County Consumer and Business Affairs, @wkitchen, and @thisisabouthumanity to welcome over 150 families to Los Angeles County at our Welcome With Dignity Day event! Welcome with Dignity Day is a legal and social services fair for previously unaccompanied minors who have since been reunited with family or sponsors in Southern California after leaving government shelters. A total of over 400 people were connected with free legal and social services so that they don't have to face an unjust immigration system alone.
