Immigrant Defenders Law Center (ImmDef) is a next-generation social justice law firm that defends our immigrant communities against injustices in the immigration system.

We envision a future where no immigrant is forced to face an unjust immigration system alone.
What We Do
Our team provides full‐scale deportation defense legal representation, legal education, and links to social services to approximately 3,000 detained or non-detained adults and children in Southern California annually.

Without our Children's Representation Project and Detained Youth Empowerment Project, children would be forced to represent themselves in court.
23 Countries Represented
ImmDef's clients come from 23 different countries of origin, roughly 78% of all clients originate from Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.
